Peer Teaching & Learning Promotes Community as Campus

Recreation centers, museums, libraries, churches, theatres, and colleges/universities are examples of local venues used as PTL classrooms. Campus participants engage as active members of their community through teaching, learning, and community service. Community members are invited to participate at campuses as co-faculty, students, faculty, and resource persons. Read More >

PTL Randolph, Experiential Learning in the Vermont Outdoors

Over 145 hats, scarves, and potholders were knitted by participants and donated to food banks, hospitals, and drop-in shelters, and five blankets to an animal shelter.

Participants complete community service projects each semester. Last semester we donated a Thanksgiving food basket to Northeast Kingdom Community Action and a Christmas basket to a family in need. We like to give back to the community.
